Required
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Oracle 11i, PA, DBA, Business Process
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Project Accounting (PA) process redesign and
Oracle team (applications specialists and business
analysts) to identify process and
systems gaps between business requirements and Oracle
Project Accounting (Project Costing and Billing).
Assist business analysts with the evaluation of
business solutions (work-arounds) or use of standard
PA application extensions, interfaces, etc. to
recommend an appropriate business solution.
Work with PA process redesign and Oracle team
(applications specialists and business analysts) to
develop and document design solutions in the form of
functional specifications that can be provided to
application and interface developers (IT Team) for
further analysis and technical specification
development.
Assist process team members with the development of
issue presentation materials for project management
and business stakeholders.
Job Related Qualifications:
Consulting skills:
· On-hands experience implementing Oracle Projects and
associated applications (a MUST)
· Background experience in large implementations
· Strong knowledge of project costing and billing
processes (a MUST)
· Focus on business processes to implement best
practices
· Team player (there are 75 resources working in GCI
Project)
· Excellent communication skills (a MUST)
Oracle Applications skills:
· Expert knowledge of PROJECTS 11i, with specific
emphasis on functional specifications/application
extensions related to both costing and billing
· Hands-on Oracle Projects implementation experience,
including Costing & Billing: versions 10.7, 11 or 11i
(11i preferred)
· Expert knowledge of cross-applications integration
(PO, AP, AR, and GL)
· Experience in all phases of an applications
implementation project:
business requirement ANALYSIS, detail SOLUTION DESIGN,
applications CONFIGURATION, testing & documentation.
