Network Systems Technology Director

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Director - Advanced
degree in Computer Science, Mathematics
LENGTH : perm
COMMENTS: Provide management direction and
technical leadership for the
Network Systems Technology Office (NSTO) of
the Network
Systems and Services Subdivision.
Responsible for architecture,
development and insertion of new network
systems technology
into the corporate infrastructure,
including desktop computing
infrastructure initiatives. NSTO will
participate in development
and deployment of directory and PKI systems
and work closely
with management and staff of the electronic
Messaging Section,
Engineering systems Department, Desktop
Services Section, the
Information Security Office and other CIRD
management and
include budgeting, staffing, and managing
technical resources.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science,
Mathematics, or
Engineering and a minimum of 8 years
experience in network
experience and demonstrated project
management skills required.
Prior software development experience,
including successful
leadership of development teams a plus.
Technical background
in system administration (Unix or NT) or
Internet technologies as
well as knowledge of or interest in
information security issues
and technologies desired. Must have
demonstrated strong
written, and interpersonal communication
skills.
