COMMENTS: Job Description: An intermediate level position working under general supervision of the Director, Software Development. Responsibilities include the

design, development and enhancement of data structures, such as tables and indexes, and associated code elements (i.e., stored procedures and triggers).

He/she will create scripts to deploy or upgrade field databases with new table structures, as well as the set of procedures used to access the data. In addition, this person will possess the ability to work with all levels of engineers and management.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of experience. Minimum of 10 years developing software with at least 3 years as an

SQL developer. Must possess extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server and the NT operating system.

Experience with SQL Server 2000, preferably including certification, desired. In addition, experience performing optimization and tuning of queries, as well as with modeling tools such as Erwin is preferred. Strong organizational skills and ability

to manage and prioritize workload. Multi-tasker, self-starter and motivated. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
