Job Description: An intermediate level position
working under general supervision of the Director,
Software Development. This person will be a key
contributor of the VoIP system.
Responsibilities
testing. The candidate will have a broad technical
background and have proven success in delivering high
quality materials on time. In addition, this person
will possess the ability to lead an ever-changing team
of engineers, work with all levels of engineers and
management and understand the formation of consensus
within a team.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field or
an equivalent combination of experience. Minimum of 10
years developing software with at least 2 years of
lead or management responsibility. Must have
experience in system design and specification, real
time application development, C++ programming, object
oriented design, product delivery, and UNIX.
Experience, preferably using Linux. Must possess
experience with telephony signaling protocols such as
ISDN, SS7, MFC/R2, GR-303, CAS and V5.x. Task
estimation and schedule creation also required.
Experience with H.323, SIP, MGCP, TCP/IP,
embedded NT and device driver development highly
desirable. Strong organization skills and ability to
manage and prioritize workload.
Multi-tasker,
self-starter and motivated. Ability to work in a fast
paced environment with changing priorities while
meeting deadlines.
